This car
began in what was basically good condition. The
customer brought it in and said that they wanted
something different, something one a kind. All of
the designs were done by us at REB Auto, and as the
project progressed all changes in the design were
approved by the customer. Our customer requested
that there be no bumpers and no chrome of any kind
showing on the exterior body.
The entire front end was designed and fabricated from
metal, and as the customer requested, housed the
original head lights and signal lights. Frenching
of the lights and grill area was designed and added.
The lower spoiler was built as one unit. The rear
end was designed and hand built completely of metal with
no seams showing on the entire body except for the hood,
doors, and trunk lid. There are no square corners,
all are rounded. Reveal line was molded on the top
of the fenders and quarters and was removed with metal.
Between the door handles to the top of the back quarters fins were hand
made to look like a 57 T-Bird. Both the front and
rear windshields have stainless steel moldings that were
hand made with metal welded in. This car is now at
primer stage. |
